At UNPAZ, students gain real-world exposure through hands-on training in leading hospitals. From the third to ninth semesters, clinical postings across multiple specialties build practical skills and patient care confidence. These sessions ensure future doctors are well-prepared to handle diverse medical scenarios with professionalism and compassion.

Internship

Students undertake a 12-month rotational internship at UNPAZ’s affiliated Guido Valadares National Hospital in Dili, East Timor. They rotate across departments, gaining exposure to ward duties, ICU, HDU, rural health centers, and more. This immersive training ensures comprehensive hands-on experience, strengthening clinical competence and preparing graduates for real-world medical practice.
